A delegation led by Prof. William O. Ellis, Vice Chancellor of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), paid a visit to Regent-Ghana on August 16, 2011. Other members of the delegation included Prof. Isaac. K. Dontwi (Dean, Institute of Distance Learning), Mr. M. K. Okrah (Senior Assistant Registrar - VC’s Office), Mr. Isaac Adu Brenya (Head, Accra Office), Mr. Anthony Adjapong (Assistant Registrar in-charge of Affiliations), and Mr. Baffour Dankwah (University Relations Officer).
Prof. William O. Ellis, in his speech, indicated that the purpose of their visit was to interact with their affiliate institutions for which Regent University is part. He commended the University for its current ranking and stressed the need to strengthen ties with their affiliate institutions.
Rev. Prof. E. K. Larbi, the President & CEO, gave a summary of the strides the University has made so far. He pointed out some few challenges in the areas of funds, ICT and Library services at the University and called the Mentor University to assist. Other members who joined the discussions from Regent-Ghana included the vice presidents, deans and other administrative officers.
