Unveiling Phase Two Strategy of the Regent-Maastricht Collaboration

On Sunday April 3, 2011, Regent-Ghana re-launched the MBA programme with more specializations. Previously the programme had run one specialization at a time but after meetings with the Dean Director of Maastricht School of Management, Prof. Dr.  Peter de. Gijsel, it was agreed that Regent University could add more specializations.

For this reason the new specializations that will run are:

  • Corporate Strategy and Economic Policy
  • Management Information Systems (MIS)
  • Accounting and Finance
  • Human Resource Management
  • International Business/Marketing

The Dean Director made a presentation on the courses of the MBA programme. He mentioned the foundation courses, the core courses, specializations and the research segment. He emphasized that the research segment is important because it helps participants of the programme to build a scientific approach to solving problems and deepens their knowledge in their areas of operations. The case studies and group presentations ensure that the programme is relevant to the institutions and nations of participants.
