Dr. Isaac Ohene has been appointed the new Registrar of Regent University effective November 1, 2012. Dr. Isaac Ohene succeeds Mr. Albert Amonoo, who has been appointed Senior Vice-President, primarily in charge of developmental projects of the University.
Dr. Ohene comes with wealth of experience serving the University of Cape Coast in numerous capacities over the past 27 years, most recently as Registrar. He has also served as Head of Administration and Secretary to University of Cape Coast Governing Council, Secretary to the Academic Board and Deputy Registrar, Academic.
Dr. Ohene earned a Doctoral Degree in Education from the Institute of Education, University of Sussex, MA in International Affairs and in Economics from Ohio University, as well as a BA in Economics/Statistics from the University of Ghana, Legon.
He is a member of the British Educational Research Association and the Ghana Association of University Administrators.
