Rev. Dr Appianda Arthur has been appointed as the Director for Business Development Center. He will act as the initial mouthpiece of the university with the principal objective of working to position the university as a first class academic institution which impacts its graduates with personal integrity, morality and sound principles of individual behavior even as it seeks to place emphasis on theory and practice. He will also initiate programs directed at individual professional skill enrichment, organizational development and capacity building and serve as the University’s liaison for international academic institutional linkages
He is currently the President of Global Leaders Initiative, Los Angeles, CA, USA. He has also formerly held various positions of influence including former Adjunct Professor at Fuller Theological Seminary, Pasadena, CA USA. former Executive Pastor, Abundant Life Church, Lithonia, GA, USA, former Director, Special Ministries, Cook Communications Ministries, USA, former Vice President, Int. Students Inc Ministry (ISI) USA, former Africa Regional Director, Prison Fellowship International USA , and former Member of Parliament, & Chairman, Parliamentary Committee on Presidential Affairs, Ghana.
Dr. Arthur is a seasoned Christian leader with more than 35 years experience in business development, ministry, government, NGO’s and nonprofits.
Rev Dr. Arthur has been on many platforms in Europe, Asia, the Caribbean, North America, and over forty African countries. A persuasive communicator with well-developed presentation, networking and collaboration skills with marketplace leaders, key pastors, denominational leaders, and mission committees, Rev. Dr Arthur is exposed to significant media involving a broad range of NGO’s, corporate, and national initiatives as a speaker and consultant.
Rev. Dr. Appianda Arthur studied at the University of Ghana, Legon ; State University of New York, Fredonia, NY USA on University of Ghana post graduate scholarship; Wesleyan University, Middletown, Connecticut, USA on a US Fulbright Commission scholarship; Duke University, Durham, NC, USA; Fuller Theological Seminary's School of Intercultural Studies, in Pasadena, CA, USA and Haggai Institute, Maui, Hawaii.
Before his relocation to Ghana from the United States in February 2014, Rev. Dr Arthur worshipped at PIWC Los Angeles, CA and engaged in pulpit responsibilities and seminars. He also participated as a resource person at the Advanced Ministers' Training Course of the Church of Pentecost at Leominster, MA USA in 2013.
