(Vice President, Admin & Development)
Mr. Albert Kobina Amonoo comes into the position of Vice President (Administration & Development) with a depth of versatility having practiced as a trained teacher, valuation surveyor, facilities manager, investment analyst, airline support services manager, and a social worker. Mr. Amonoo holds a Bachelor's degree in Land Economics, Master of Science degree in Urban Land Appraisal and a Fellow of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors.
His teaching career cuts across basic to tertiary education. He is a former head of Estate Department and the pioneer head of the Investment Department, both at Social Security and National Insurance Trust. He then moved to Ghana Airways to develop and manage the property and later the support services division of the erstwhile national flag carrier.
Mr. Amonoo is a past president of the Rotary Club of Accra, Osu RE and the chairman of the PTA and a member of the Board of Governors of Accra Academy for the fourth year running. He has held other positions in society, traveled widely and participated in several conferences, workshops and seminars both in Ghana and abroad.
Mr. Amonoo was instrumental in the assignment of undertaking the feasibility studies that culminated in the setting up of the Central University College, for which Dr. E. Kingsley Larbi, his long-standing ally was its founding president. It is therefore no surprise that he is collaborating with him in this monumental second mission of setting up the very first private science and technology tertiary institution in Ghana.
