Spiritual Life on Campus

MISSION

The mission of the Regent University College of Science and Technology Spiritual Life Programme  is to encourage and enable members of the Regent community to grow spiritually and maximise their potential, by providing meaningful opportunities for worship, fellowship, Bible study, learning and pastoral counselling.  Additionally, the department is committed to fostering a strong sense of community on campus and an awareness of the need to serve one another.

Chaplaincy- The chaplaincy seeks to serve the University community by offering Pastoral Counselling, support and guidance in matters of faith and spiritual development for all students and staff, both Christians and non-Christians.

Christian Fellowships –These provide opportunities for students to come together for a variety of spiritually-enriching programmes. Students can get involved in Christ-centered campus groups such as Campus Christian Fellowship (CCF), Trinity Spirit International, Faith World Campus Ministry and Regent University Choir.

Community Worship – Daily chapel services are held for the community. Such intimate meetings are typically characterized by a strong tradition of vibrant worship, intense prayers, and inspirational bible-based messages, to mention but a few. Meetings are held each week day, with a climax on Thursday.

The Thursday Chapel Service, which takes place at 7:30 AM, brings together students and staff of the university for worship.  Care is taken to ensure that the service is conducted in a way that meets the needs of both Ghanaian and International students.

Enquiries about our services or any other related issue can be channelled through the University chaplain, after which you would be referred to a specific chaplain who would cater to you.

The Chaplain co-ordinates the ecumenical arrangements for the celebration of special occasions in the academic year, such as:

  • Christmas Carols Service
  • Annual university thanksgiving service.
  • Graduation thanksgiving service
  • Matriculation Thanksgiving service
