University Chaplain & Head of Chaplaincy Department
Rev. Nana Ofori Akuffo came to Regent University College in 2012 to be its Chaplain and to oversee the affairs of the Chaplaincy department.
Previously, Rev. Ofori Akuffo has doubled as a Principal and Lecturer at Faith Evangelical Theological College and Seminary. He has also served as a Lecturer at the Global Revival Bible College, the Ghana Theological College and the Agape Bible College.
He obtained an MA in Ministry from the Trinity Theological Seminary, Legon, with his dissertation on “The Role of ICT in Theological Education in Ghana: Case Study of Trinity Theological Seminary.” He also earned an Associate Missionary Certificate from the World Outreach School of Missions and a Diploma in Pastoral Ministries and Religious Education.
Rev. Akuffo is a Board member of the African Association of Psychosocial and Marriage Counsellors, and a member of the Board of Directors of Media response- a Non-Governmental Organisation. He is also a Life member of the Bible Society of Ghana, a member of the New York-based World Peace Prayer Society and the Liaison coordinator for the Dictionary of African Christian Biography, New Haven, CT, USA.
During his spare time, Rev. Akuffo, enjoys swimming, reading Christian literature and playing Hockey. He is a former sports captain of the Ho Polytechnic.
