Regent University students participate in Huawei ICT Academy Regional Competition. The students who had qualified through University level and National level preliminary rounds, joined fellow University students in the Sub-Saharan African to compete in the African Regional Competition. Winners will go on to the Global ICT Academy Competition in Beijing, China.

The competition which tests students knowledge in Data Communication and Networking,, and Computer Security is taken by Huawei partner Universities around the World.
The 2022- 23 Competition started from September 2022 with preliminary around at the University level. Our students qualified to the National level where they competed with students in other Universities in Ghana. The students again qualified to the African Regional level.
Today, 22nd February 2023, our students competed at the Regional Competition at Huawei Ghana Head office, Accra. Hopefully, they will qualify to the Global level.

These are the students who took part: Prince Kyei - Computer Science level 300, Yayra Aku Adzadu - Telecommunication Engineering level 400, Jonas Nii Armah Ababio - Computer Engineering level 400, with lead Instructor being Mr. Kwadwo Opoku Attah and supported Mr David Fiase.
