To be eligible for the MSc in Statistics programme, applicants must meet the following entry requirements:

Good First Degree

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science or other Bachelor’s Degree-related programmes with strong Mathematics and Statistics components. Undergraduate programmes with courses in Algebra, Analysis, Differential Equations, Statistical Computing and Mathematical Statistics, Statistical inference and sampling techniques are highly preferred.

Pre MSc

Applicants with Diploma in Statistics from ISSER (Legon), Higher National Diploma (HND) in Statistics and BSc/ BA in Non-Statistics/Mathematics disciplines will complete a one year Pre-MSc Statistics programme in the first instance before proceeding to the Masters programme.

Interview

All qualified applicants will be subjected to vigorous interviews to ascertain their preparedness for the programme.
