About Dr. Ashimizo Afadameh-Adeyemi
The university community and the general public are hereby informed of the appointment of Dr. Ashimizo Afadameh-Adeyemi, Esq. as the Chair of the University Council of Regent University College of Science and Technology. He has been a member of Regent's Governing Council.
Dr. Ashimizo is a trade lawyer with expertise in International Trade and Investment Law, Commercial Litigation, Public International Law, and International Economic Law. He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Lagos State University, a Master of Laws degree, and a Doctorate degree from the University of Cape Town.
He is the past Chairperson of the African International Economic Law Network and a member of the Advisory Board of the African International Economic Law Network. He is presently the Group Chief Executive Officer of ASHFAR Limited, a Pan-African business enterprise with interests in the development of infrastructure projects in energy, ICT, agriculture, and construction sectors.
This appointment takes effect from January 01, 2025.
