JAIN University Delegation Visits Regent University College of Science and Technology

On May 21, 2024, Regent University College of Science and Technology hosted a delegation from JAIN University, based in Bangalore, India, on campus.

The visit aimed to explore collaboration opportunities between JAIN University and Regent University College of Science and Technology. Key areas of discussion included student and faculty exchange programmes, the development of degree programmes in technology, science, chemistry, and business administration, and the potential to leverage online courses and opportunities to give students a competitive edge in the global job market.

he meeting also provided an opportunity to learn about JAIN University’s unique programme offerings and scholarship opportunities for African students.

The JAIN University delegation included Ms. Dyuthi Vasanth, the International Relations Officer in charge of Ghana, and Ms. Dakshayini Ravigowda, the International Relations Officer in charge of Uganda. Also part of the delegation were Mrs. Harriet Asante, Deputy Director of the Sustainable Development Alliance (SusDA), and Mrs. Akua Benson-Tambo, a Child Development Expert with SusDA.

Representing Regent were President Nana Yaw Boadi Appiah, Registrar Mr. Benjamin Zogbator, and Vice President Prof. Samuel Lartey, along with various Heads of Departments.

President Appiah thanked the delegation for their visit and expressed hope that the discussions would continue, leading to tangible benefits for both institutions.

On behalf of the delegation, Mrs. Harriet Asante thanked Regent University for the warm reception and the valuable feedback on JAIN University’s offerings.
